Worthing Buses

Worthing has bus services that link all residential areas to the town centre. 

The bus system  in Worthing is simple and all buses go from and to 5 stops in the town centre (please see our custom map for exact locations). 

Many students will be able to travel on the buses together as there are 5 main bus routes.

We sends a list of students, their host families with the relevant bus service(s) and the names of the bus stops by the hosts house and in the town centre (or close to the school) in advance of group arrival. This information is also on the students ID cards.

Catching the Bus

Students should be reminded that the bus stops may be on the opposite side of the road to their home country!! Students should also raise their arm and hand to stop the bus.

Bus Companies and Services

Most bus services are operated by Stagecoach bus services, with a few minor services operated by Metrobus and Compass buses. 

For groups we issue tickets for Stagecoach services only, which accounts for 90%+ of services.
